Kawamoto Kaname

Through participating in Model United Nations in high school and studying abroad in the United States during her university years, Kaname deeply learned the importance of dialogue among people from diverse cultural and international backgrounds. Later, during her four-year stay in Hanoi, Vietnam, she enrolled her children in the United Nations International School. This experience inspired a strong passion for progressive educational approaches—particularly the International Baccalaureate (IB) program—that naturally foster children’s spirit of inquiry.

While in Hanoi, she also served as a Japanese Language Education Coordinator, interacting with students and families from various backgrounds. Driven by a desire to support children’s growth and family well-being through a deeper, more systematic approach, she went on to study Child Psychology at university and earned a Primary School Teaching License.

With a firm passion to “provide an exceptional learning environment that nurtures each child’s full potential,” she is dedicated to both strategic business planning for the school’s sustainable growth and warmly welcoming prospective families through the admissions process.
