Summer Camp 2025
Our Summer Camps will run from June 16 for 6 weeks until August 1. Camps are available for all K-G8 students of Yoyogi International School and our friends outside of the school.
All listed camps are proposals that require minimum registration to proceed. We regularly expect camps with 50-60 students. Overnight trips are for groups of 8-16 students and will be confirmed once minimum enrollment is met. If a program is cancelled, the full funds will be refunded or redirected to other camps at the parent’s discretion.
All camps include a variety of fun and active activities, arts and crafts, sports, and cultural experiences that celebrate our diverse community. Day trips to the local parks, shrines, and galleries are also expected. Teaching staff plans a daily schedule that is shared with parents well before the camp begins.
The Osaka EXPO Trip (three days) will include the Shinkansen to and from Osaka and accommodation in an Airbnb house with shared sleeping arrangements. Two staff members (male and female) will supervise each house. Staff will oversee the exploration of the EXPO site over two days and plan visits to local Osaka attractions. Trip Date: June 17-19 (camp is the entire week).

By popular demand, the YMCA Camp (3 Days) is a repeat of last year’s trip. The camp provides formal sleeping and eating facilities and outdoor fun and adventure. Last year, campers highly praised it, and it will fill quickly. Trip Date: June 25-27 and July 2-4 (camp is the entire week). Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where students can learn, grow, and make lasting friendships. We perform risk analysis at venues we travel to, carry our first aid supplies, and work to provide appropriate supervision. All staff have completed child-safeguarding training.
Summer is a wonderful time for exploration and creativity, and we are excited to offer a fun program that encourages students to discover new interests and develop their skills. Whether your child wants to dive into a new hobby or enjoy time with friends, our Summer Camp has something for everyone! Screen time is limited to indoor break times and short activities.
This page will continue to be updated as camp details are confirmed. Register early, as spaces are limited. Trips have defined spaces for train bookings and room accommodation. Regular week camps hosted out of the Yoyogi IS facilities and Olympic Center have greater capacity and run each week of the summer.

Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Students are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that late applications may result in not securing your child’s place.
An invoice for your application will be issued in May.

Summer School Program Pricing
Tuition fees will be calculated in accordance with the number of weeks that you indicate in the application. By signing up for 3 or more weeks, a 10% discount will be applied. An invoice for your application will be issued in May.

No refunds or cancelations are available after the due date. Please make a payment by the due date. If the payment is not received by the due date specified on the invoice, your child’s place will be cancelled.
